What your staff have to do differently
Nothing. That is the whole design, not a slogan. The product reads the PointClickCare record your team already keeps. There is no second system to open, no form to fill in twice, no field that has to be populated for the product to work, and no change to how a nurse charts.
The people who log in are the ones who want the output: your DON, your MDS coordinator, whoever drafts the plan of correction.
Getting started
- One call, thirty minutes. The real screens, your building's shape, and a straight answer on anything it cannot do. Not a slide deck.
- The paperwork, in parallel. We sign your BAA — yours, not ours. If your IT team has a security questionnaire, send it with your first reply and it comes back completed.
- Access, granted by you. Your organisation grants access through the PointClickCare Marketplace, endpoint by endpoint. You can withdraw it at any point without asking us.
- It starts reading. Historic orders and notes come in, so the first chart check has something to say immediately rather than after a fortnight of waiting for data to accumulate.
A reasonable first week
- Run the chart check against the orders already written. This is usually the moment the pilot is decided, because the first list is drawn from charts that already exist.
- Upload a 2567 you have already answered, and compare the drafted plan of correction against what you wrote. That comparison is more useful than any demo of a fresh one.
- Pick a handful of recent incidents and read the audit output against your own conclusions.
What we ask of you
One person who will actually open it. A pilot where everybody is enthusiastic and nobody logs in tells neither of us anything, and sixty days is long enough for that to happen quietly.
If the honest answer at day sixty is "it found things we already knew about", that is a result and we would rather hear it than be renewed out of politeness.
At the end
- No card is taken, so nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
- Your exports stay yours. Plans of correction and audit output go to Word throughout, during the pilot as well as after it.
- You can have the price before you start. Ask on the first call. A pilot that ends in a surprise is a waste of two months.
Who this is not for, today
Facilities not on PointClickCare. The product reads a PointClickCare record. On another EHR there is nothing for it to read, and no amount of goodwill changes that this quarter.
Anyone needing a current SOC 2 Type II to sign. There is not one yet. It is on the roadmap and it is not finished, and you should know that now rather than in week six of your procurement process.
Anyone expecting it to write into the chart. It reads your record and produces documents you edit. It is not a system of record and it does not chart on your behalf.
